A Little Bit About Me
I graduated from St. Thomas University in May of 2012 with Majors in French and Political Science and decided to continue my education at St. Thomas to pursue a teaching career. I haven't always specifically wanted to become a teacher; however, I have always wanted to find a fulfilling career that would continue to challenge me, as well as allow me to give back to my community. The more I've matured over the years, the clearer it's become to me that a career in teaching is exactly what I've been searching for!

Originally from Prince Edward Island, I grew up in a small, rural fishing community about 20 minutes outside of Montague. Throughout high school I was very involved in my school by participating in a number of groups and clubs including student council (Grade 10 Representative, Jr. Vice President and Treasurer), the debate team, the yearbook committee, model U.N., grad committee and the Vikings girls’ rugby team. I was also fortunate enough to have been placed in the Early French Immersion Program; therefore, I have been learning French as a second language since I was six years old. I am very proud of my ability to communicate fluently in our country’s two official languages and am extremely grateful for the opportunities it has provided me.
